The assessment wasn't as per my expectations and I was a little disappointed as there was a miscommunication in my feedback regarding FVL 1 which I talked about with Kishore Sir and after a session with him I was assured that my SA would be much better than the FA.
MY AREAS OF STRENGTH:
Taking feedback regularly: I took initiative to take the feedbacks from the tutors and tried to incorporate them.
Line quality: Because of my love for drawing, my line quality was always good.
Ability to work with different mediums: Being a painter myself, I was able to work with all the mediums quite comfortably.
MY AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT:
More Observation: I need to observe the forms more clearly to be able to the analysis better.
Being consistent doing DDD: I need to practice the forms and my DDD everyday in order to improve the observational skills.
More exploration: Even though the number of explorations was exactly what was asked, I still need to explore more in order to improve.
Due to late joining, I was already behind the other students who have been attending the classes since day 1 and I think it is because of this, I was not able perform my best. Had I attended the regular sessions, maybe my feedback would have been up to my expectations.
I have decided to take a more exploratory approach and experimenting with different tools and techniques. I have also taken initiatives to in term 2 to interact more with the tutors and receiving feedback from them.
The constant feed-forward and my consistent exploration will keep me on the right track.
