The assessment wasn't as per my expectation and even though I understood the feedback given to me, I was still restless until I had a meeting with the module tutors and after having a session with, everything started to make sense.
MY AREAS OF STRENGTH:
Knowledge: My knowledge of materials and techniques and how to manipulate them. I have always loved exploring materials ever since I watched ART ATTACK in childhood and I think that because of all those art lessons, I had a good knowledge about the various materials and creatives manipulation techniques.
Interaction: Taking part in the class discussion as well as sharing my ideas. The discussions about various sculptures and architects have always fascinated which Can advantage for me during the class discussions.
Creative outcomes: Since I already had the needed knowledge, I was able to execute my ideas with better creativity especially when it comes to carving (POP explorations during F2F)
MY AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT:
Better Reflective approach: My reflections for this module did not have major articulation nor I connected them with my past learnings and experiences.
Maintaining logbook: I think I need to improve my process of documentation in the logbook. Since I did not have much time, I wasn't able to maintain the logbook properly.
Time management: While most of my ideas were executed perfectly, the ones I did during the extra classes did not turn out to be that good as I didn't have time and finished them in a hurry.
Due to late joining, I was already behind the other students who have been attending the classes since day 1 and I think it is because of this, I was not able perform my best. Had I attended the regular sessions, maybe my feedback would have been up to my expectations.
Starting from Term 2, I have planned my time so that I don't have any backlog. I also decided to clear any doubt that comes to my mind without being shy to improve my work.
To see if I am going on the right track or not, I have taken initiatives in term 2 to interact more with the tutors and receiving feedback from them.
