ONE SQUARE YARD: Learner's Log

After a three week long project, came One Square Yard which took us on a journey of exploring fabrics. The way we were dealing with our fabric each day brought us more closer to it and I was able to make an emotional bond with my fabric.

I believe that this project somehow helped me understand myself (unraveling the emotions inside me) while exploring the fabric which I have never felt in the previous projects. It wasn't like there were no challenges as each day brought a new question about its weaving method and the story behind which almost got answered in the end. Despite the project being ended a week ago, I still haven't washed my fabric so that its scent remains the same.
