PAPER AS A MATERIAL:
APPLICATION OF PAPER IN VARIOUS PRODUCTS:
Today, almost everything is made using paper. Paper can be seen in a wide variety of products mostly in packaging. Different decorative papers are often used to gift someone in the form of envelopes.
Besides these, paper is used a lot in the medical industry. It is not only used in the packaging of certain medicines but also in the form of toiletries.
DO'S AND DONT'S OF BURNING PAPER:
Keep the burning object at a distance from yourself to avoid you getting burned
Practice burning in open spaces as the emissions produced are directly released into the air.
If burning inside a room, it is preferred that you wear a mask because the emissions are harmful for your health.
It is always better to burn it using an incense stick rather than a matchstick so that you don't burn yourself.
Apply a coating of vaseline on yours hands before burning as it will protect your hands.

ILLUSTRATED GLOSSARY:

THOUGHTS:
I believe that this new way of learning in which we are asked to do the work rather than learn it though books is quite an approach to prepare us for the design world. I believe that the concept of having studios instead of classrooms gives us an experience of how a designer works. 'Practice makes one perfect' and the concept of 'learning by doing' is a way to achieve that perfection.
KEY LEARNINGS:
Through this project, I realized how a mundane paper can have such different properties. It enabled me to widen my horizon of learning. Even though the whole project was a little time consuming but in the end it became quite fun. This might seem a little stressing at first but it is the building block of our career and in the long run this is what is gonna make us a great designer.
