My journey of capstone was full of ups and downs. There were several times when I felt stuck in the project but my friends and mentors always supported me.
Phase 1 & 2 worked to my advantage as the connection I shared with my Neem tree was so strong that I actually enjoyed the research work.
IDD-1 was the phase when I was able to apply my learning of FVL-1 & 2 and used different types of dots, lines and colors. It made me realize that 'abstract' is not another word for random rather it manipulates the visual elements in such a way that it still captures the essence of the subject. IDD-2 not only improved my visualization skills but also made me understand the importance of prototyping and how it gives you the chance to rectify your mistakes. It gave me a chance to challenge the notion of a shell by applying the learnings from think lab activities (challenging assumption).
While my idea was executed the way I wanted, my negligence to try the jali in prototypes made me took the wrong approach of making it later when the form is ready and due to this I could not incorporate it in my form.
Besides the struggles and achievements, capstone made me realize that I tend to find non-materialistic meaning among the materialistic things.
