PRE-WORK:
For the pre-task we were asked to choose an object which we would study about further in detail. We needed to have at least five samples of that object physically present with us.
The object I chose was a paper clip.
Definition: a small piece of bent wire that is used to fasten papers together

TASK 1: REASON
WHY? I think that paper clip is one of the most essential items for all of us when it comes to stationary. Being an artist, most of my work is done on loose sheets and hence I need to put them together using those paper clips. Also it reminded me of my school days as I never brought a notebook as I liked working on loose sheets. For me binding the sheets together using paper clips gives a very professional vibe.
TASK 2: DESCRIPTION
Used to hold sheets of paper together.
Usually made of steel wire which is commonly bent into a loop shape.
Can be easily bent into another shape.
Comes in a variety of shapes and sizes.
The open ends are quite pointed and one may get hurt sometimes.
Makes somewhat 'click sound'
Somewhat similar to when we tap our nails on a metallic surface
DAY 1:
The first day of the project started with knowing the various attributes of the object. The objective was to scratch the surface of the history of evolution of that object.
TASK 1:
Slice and Dice:
Working collectively in a group, we had to list various attributes of the object (mine was paper clip).

My sample:

Identifying Available Variety:
Now, we had to categorise the available samples of the paper clip according to the differences in their weight, color, purpose, etc.

TASK 2: STAKEHOLDER MAPPING
Stakeholder Mapping is basically listing down all the stakeholders of a product, project or idea on a visual map. Still working collaboratively, now was the task to list the various stakeholders of the product and prioritize them.

INDIVIDUAL TASK
Illustrating the stakeholder on the map according to the degree of affectedness and placing them under the category of direct and indirect stakeholder.
This task enabled me to understand how something even though indirectly related can have a huge affect or impact on the object.

Sketching the value exchange between the stakeholders:
