INTRODUCTION:
Out of all the Think Lab activities that were done, this one had the most alienated name as I have never even heard the word 'Stakeholder'. So stakeholder is a person, group or organization that has interest or concern/ is affected by the organization's actions, objectives and persons.
Stakeholder Mapping is basically listing down all the stakeholders of a product, project or idea on a visual map.
WARM-UP ACTIVITY:
As usual the day started with a warm up activity. we were shown a picture and asked to interpret the situation in our own way.

In the above picture we were asked to list the various stakeholders i.e. the people that are doing a transaction and those who are getting affected by it directly or indirectly even though they are not visible in the picture.
The various stakeholders in the above picture are- hawkers, shopkeepers, drivers, vendors, beggars, traffic police, families of the seller and consumer, production houses, etc.
MAIN ACTIVITY:
For the main activity, we were divided into groups of 3-4 students.
My group members - Lavanya Jain, Leiching Leinakh, and Jiya Godara
This activity was divided into two tasks:
TASK 1: Creating a stakeholder map
Each group was assigned a particular picture and were asked to create a visual map laying down all the stakeholders of that picture in a particular format.
Below is the picture assigned to my group:

Below is my group's stakeholder map created using miro:

TASK 2: Drawing one stakeholder's point of view
In this task we all had to individually choose one stakeholder and draw that person's perspective along with a dialogue.

GROUP WORKING:
Task 1 involved a lot of communication between the members of the group and luckily my group was able to do that very well. Even though the Task 2 was to be done individually, all the members in my group first discussed each others' ideas which prove to be very helpful in creating the outcomes.
REFLECTION:
Stakeholder Mapping was a totally different topic for me as I have never even heard about it. It made me realize how a small action could affect so many people directly or indirectly. At one point, one of Newton's law clicked in my mind that "Every action has an equal and an opposite reaction". This means that the profit for one will result in loss for the other and vice-versa. There were struggles when I had to categorize the stakeholders into local national and international level but I was able to overcome it with the help of my peers and tutor. This activity was totally new for me and thus very exciting and engaging.
LEARNING MANTRA:
Your actions have value far greater than you think.
